We are proud to announce that we’ll receive funding to support aspects of our programming for students through the Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) grant program. The award that was announced last week by State Senator Nick Pisciottano will support aspects of programming such as personnel, equipment and family engagement for the next 3 years. We’re looking forward to continuing our important work with students in our local communities.
"Partnering with the Will Allen Foundation is personal to me, because I know what those out-of-school hours can mean for a child. This partnership gives our students somewhere safe to land, with caring adults in their corner. This program is a lifeline for many." - Dr. Tamara Allen-Thomas, Superintendent, Clairton City School District
